Dr. Massimiliano Marrone

 He received the ‘Laurea’ degree in Electronics Engineering in 1999 and the Ph. D. degree in ‘Information Engineering’ in 2003, both from the University of Trieste, Italy.

In 2001 he spent six months as a Visiting Scholar at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (São Paulo, Brazil), UNICAMP, in the Microwaves and Optics Department, directed by Prof. H.E.Hernandez Figueroa, working on dielectric scattering problems and photonic crystals.

Since 2002 he has been collaborating as a Visiting Scholar with the Electromagnetic Communication Laboratory at the Penn State University, USA, directed by Prof. R.Mittra. 

 

Currently, he is working as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Penn State University, USA. His fields of interest include computational electromagnetics (FEM, FDTD, Finite Volumes methods), electromagnetic theory, foundations of electromagnetics and network theory.
