Dr. Hany AbdEl Raouf

Hany AbdEl Raouf received his MSc degree and Ph.D. Degree in Antennas and Microwave Techniques from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, in March 1994 and June 2000 respectively. 

March 1989 to March 1994 he worked as assistant researcher in Electronics Research  Institute in Cairo (ERI), from March 1994 to Sept. 2000 as Associate Researcher in (ERI), and from Sept. 2000 to Jan.2001 as researcher (Assistant Professor) in (ERI). 

Currently, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Electromagnetic Communication Lab of the Penn State University. His research interests include the application of the Method of Momenst (MoM) for different types of electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems, application of the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD), the time-domain physical optics for transient electromagnetic problems such as EMP, and the development of optimized higher order FDTD.
